La Dama
About This Spot
La Dama is a quietly charming spot tucked just off Nerja’s bustling promenade, where the laid-back rhythm of Mediterranean life gently invites you in. The moment you arrive, there’s a comforting sense of familiarity—like stepping into a friend's well-loved kitchen, where warmth and ease fill the air. It's the kind of place where the pace slows just enough to savor good company and honest food, without the rush or fuss often found in busier tourist hubs.
This little Italian and Mediterranean gem thrives on that intimate atmosphere, offering a welcoming refuge from the sun and crowds. The space is unpretentious, modest in size, but filled with genuine smiles and attentive service that never feels scripted. Here, the attention to detail is in the human moments—the shared glances over a delicately tossed pizza, the careful pouring of a robust wine, the small talk that lingers between courses.
The menu feels like a personal invitation to explore comfort and creativity in equal measure. Pizzas arrive with character—each one lovingly hand-thrown, a little charmingly imperfect, rich with toppings that hint at local freshness and traditional roots. Garlic bread is not merely a starter but a flavorful gateway, setting the tone for the dishes that follow, whether it’s the satisfying warmth of a lasagne or the tender simplicity of a codillo. The offerings invite you to discover familiar flavors through a lens that’s both rustic and heartfelt, grounded in a genuine passion for sharing good food.
La Dama’s true appeal is in how it caters to both locals and travelers searching for authenticity without pretense. Despite its location near lively tourist paths, here you find an honest value that quietly speaks of integrity—ample plates, reasonable prices, and a sense that feeding people well matters above all else. The mix of cheerful families, returning visitors, and locals creates a welcoming mosaic, where every visit feels like taking part in a small but meaningful local ritual.
In essence, La Dama isn’t just a place to eat—it’s a space where time seems to pause just enough to enjoy simple, earned pleasures: the scent of fresh dough, the clink of glasses, and the soft hum of shared moments beneath Nerja’s sunlit sky.

Been here many times. Two penne arrabiata with a garlic bread pizza and a bottle of wine for under 20 euros. the pizzas are hand thrown so don't expect it to be round...

Best place to eat around Europe Balcony. The food is delicious cooked with real passion by the chief - the real La Dama. Service is very polite and professional. All of these for really reasonable prices (for egzample 10E per person for a pizza plus a cheese cake which is the best cheese cake I've eaten so far)! This place really wins, their mission is to feed people first then making business.

We ate here twice and loved it. The staff were brilliant and the food and drinks delicious and great value. Well worth the walk from the Villa Flamenca where we were staying.

Family of five happily fed and watered! Best pizza I’ve had for ages. Daughters carbonara got the thumbs up (no mean feat!). Service was friendly and welcoming. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be returning.

Possibly the best price to quality ratio restaurant in Nerja. Most restaurants in tourist areas change twice or more the price of what normal local restaurants would charge. Well, not this one. It is in a tourist area and meals are quite large, good quality and reasonably priced. I keep coming back and back. Service is also friendly. It is a basic and small restaurant but you can't beat what you get for your money. Highly recommended.

I had many a pizza here and I enjoyed each and every one. Excellent value. The service is nice, polite and very quick. It is nice to sit outside, but my pro tip is to take the pizza to the beach and enjoy it there, looking at the sea and the mountains

In my opinion the best restaurant in nerja, the most competitively priced. The best sangria at the cheapest price. The staff are fantastic and all the food is very tasty. We always eat here when we visit nerja. We cannot recommend this place enough. Its so inexpensive so wont hurt your wallet
